If you have an urgent need to travel, you can contact the US Embassy in Dublin to ascertain if you might qualify for an economic interest, humanitarian, or other exception. The US authorities are only providing emergency and mission-critical visa services at present and visa appointments remain limited. Students travelling from Ireland (and the UK and Schengen Area) with valid F-1 and M-1 visas do not need to seek a humanitarian exception to travel.
